Torres del Rio

Today was a 30k day! (18 miles). The knee feels great. The terrain was flat making for easy travel. It was the first day I was able to get in my head and think about things, rather than constantly focusing on the terrain and weather.
20 minutes into the day I passed the famous wine fountain, which has been providing wine to pilgrims for centuries.
I did take “an alternate” route as a result of misreading a split in the trail, but it met back up on the other side of a village.
Vineyards are starting to replace the canola, barley and peas I’ve been seeing. I did try another canola field selfie, which I haven’t looked at - let’s see how it turned out 😂Läs mer
