Buenos Aires - Day 1

Welcome to this journey with me as I travel across South America. I slept well on the plane, waking up as we landed in Buenos Aires. After arriving at the hotel, I walked around the docks and went to a fantastic steakhouse before meeting a few members of my group at Recoleta Cemetery - site of Eva Paron’s mausoleum - and the surrounding neighborhood.

After meeting the rest of the group we went to a cooking class to make chipas (cheese bread), empanadas, salad, steak, and flan… and of course wine and vermouth. The dinner ended around 10:00 - early for Argentinians, before we returned to the hotel to crash.Read more
