Gunung Bromo

We took the train from Yogya to Malang, where a driver was waiting for us to take us to our homestay close to Bromo. The train ride was relaxing, however the landscape was less impressive than on the way from Probolinggo to Banyuwangi (see next foot print).
On our first day at Bromo, we mainly relaxed and later got a tour by our wonderful host Aziz, who first took us to a place above Bromo to try to catch a glimpse of it. However, due to the many clouds we didn’t really see much.
