Discovering the surroundings of Ubud

On the morning of the 29th of July, we were woken up by the first of the two strong earthquakes that shook Lombok. Even though we were hundreads of kilometers away, we could still feel it quit strongly. It happened at about 7 am and it took us some time to realize what had just happend. The first thought I had was that Gunung Agung had erupted again but social media quickly told us what had happened. We then cancelled our reservation in Nusa Lembongan (also due to the high waves that made it difficult to cross the see) and decided to go to Canggu instead. We also stayed one night longer than planned in Ubud. We went on a bike tour around Ubud and had more delicious vegan food at Sayuri Healing Food Café and the Zest.Читать далее
