The Journey continues...

We spent the night in a lovely little resort in small village called Pak Beng. In 2004 I had also spent the night in this village, but it was much smaller then and there was only a very simple accomodation, where we had to sleep on the floor. This place had definately changed. I had met some nice people from Canada and Australia on the boat and we went to an Indian restaurant where we enjoyed some good vegetarian food. The next morning we were back on the boat at 9 o'clock and continued our journey. Later on we visited another village. This one was a little bigger and we were able to buy some nice scarfs woven by the women of the village.Read more
