After spending most of the rest of the day in bed, reading, relaxing, sleeping, we were picked up by Tailah, an apparently famous guide in Banjarmasin who took us on a canal tour around the city. HeLäs mer
Finding a good place to eat was quite an adventure but we finally managed to find one. The evening ended back a the hotel were we were once again asked to join people in their photos.
Since there was no direct flight to Manado, we had to make a stopover in Surabaya. On the way to Manado, we also stopped in Makassar. In the 3rd picture you can see the landscape close to Makassar.
We finally made it to Manado airport and then took a taxi to our hotel which was outside of the city. The landscape in Northern Sulawesi is beautiful, I immediately fell in love with the place. It'sLäs mer
