Watching apes and birds

We continued cruising on the river, watching monkeys and birds, eating lunch and chilling.
Meeting Bob and his friends

One of my favorite things of the trip was watching Bob, the gibbon, move from tree to tree, up and down. The grace with which he moved was beautiful. It must be fun to be a gibbon!
More monkeys and more chilling

The sun came out in the afternoon and it was really nice and relaxing to just watch the surrounding nature ... including the monkeys enjoying themselves as well.
Last day in the jungle

Dinner stop on the way

Katja and I took a night bus to Banjarmarsin. On the bus we met a nice young woman traveling with a baby. Somehow it ended up in my arms when she had to take a toilet break.
Arriving in Banjarmarsin

It took us some time to find a grab to take us to our hotel, but at least we made some acquaintances at the bus terminal.

Arriving outside of Manado

We finally made it to Manado airport and then took a taxi to our hotel which was outside of the city. The landscape in Northern Sulawesi is beautiful, I immediately fell in love with the place. It'sЧитать далее
