Chinese temples in Manado

After a very lazy morning we took a taxi to downtown Manado to look at the few sights the city has to offer.

Walked around a bit and then made it to an apparently famous seafood restaurant from which we were able to enjoy the sunset.
On the way to Tangkoko National park we first stopped at a waterfall.

I couldn't get enough of the views of the jungle and Tangkoko Vulcano. The food at our place was delicious, but my personal highlight was the bathtub.
Once again we got up very early. This time we went on a trekking tour in the national park to watch monkeys, birds and insects. We walked for more than 9 kilometers, but it was worth it.
After resting for most of the day we went back into the jungle at around 4:30 pm to look for Tarsiers. And we got lucky! Such cute and interesting creatures and definitely worth the 6 km we trekked.
The next morning we were off to our next location: Lembeh Strait.
