A small medieval village about an hour and a half’s journey from Prague. Its origins lie in the mining of silver and in its early days it was second only in size to Prague. Mining began here in the 14th century. It is in the region of Bohemia.
As we roll through the countryside outside Prague, the villages are small, buildings are almost all constructed of stone and are very quaint.
The streets are narrow and cobbled. There's a lot of uneven walking up and down the hill.
