Central Market Hall, Pest

The spacious market is at the Pest end of Liberty Bridge (Szabadság híd). Built at the turn of the 19-20th centuries it was one of the most modern indoor markets not only in Budapest but in the whole world.
Fresh produce is on the ground floor and the gallery level has Hungarian souvenirs and goods as well as delicious looking street food. The food must be great because all seats are occupied and people are standing eating.En savoir plus
