Melk Abbey

High on the hill above the town of Melk, is the huge complex that is Melk Abbey. It’s a benedictine monastery.
We wander the immaculate grounds and walk through the courtyards and cloisters. With plenty of time here, we have another lunch in the sunshine trying out the local fare.
