Here in this hall, the prime exhibit is the 1880's fishing vessel, the Maria, which remained in service til the 1950's.
There's a cool collection of kayaks and canoes and a Portuguese fishing boat.
The round ring, with pants attached, is hooked onto ropes (like a flying fox) to rescue people safely from a sinking ship.
There's also a U1 Submarine built in 1906, Germany's first submarine. Its hull has been cut to display the vessel like a cross section. Very interesting.Læs mere
