Deutsches Museum: Altamira Cave

The Altamira Cave exhibit depicts the life of prehistoric times. Altamira Cave is in Northern Spain and the famous frescoes on the ceiling date back to the Stone Age. Entry to this cave was buried for more than 10,000 years since the end of the Ice Age.

The Hall of Bisons in real life is 18m long and 9m wide. The sloping ceiling ranges from less than 1m to 1.9m. This exhibit (in size) is approximately half-sized in length and width.Read more
