Schloss Linderhof

Linderhof Palace is in the southwest of Bavaria. It is the smallest of the three palaces built by King Ludwig II of Bavaria and the only one which he lived to see completed. It was Ludwig's Hunting Lodge. He came here twice a month, both summer and winter. The interiors are opulent but we are unable to take photos. It is said that Ludwig was homosexual but because of his station in the Roman Catholic faith, he denied this. The interiors, however are quite feminine in their detail.Læs mere
