Kitzbuhel as a small Alpine town in the western Tyrol. It's a fashionable winter resort, known for the annual Hahnenkamm downhill ski race. Upscale shops and cafes line the streets of its medieval center. The town has a 14th century church. This weekend there is a serious runners' race being held - a vertical run of 8km; a 16km and a 32km. You'd have to be super fit to run in these mountains. We also stopped to watch the school children playing in the town's park. It was a recess and the venue was obviously their open playground.Læs mere
