St Moritz

Playground of the rich and famous, St Moritz is one of the most well-known ski resorts in Switzerland. It has 3 Five Star hotels which regularly host royalty and celebrities. The town is built on the steep sides of the mountain beside a small lake that freezes over in winter. It is surrounded by mountains. We do an orientation walk around the town. In the middle of town is a large herd of grazing sheep, many of whom have bells around their necks. At the carpark, we learn that there are special car parking spaces for women (Frauen) that are slightly bigger than a normal space (go figure that one!).Read more
