    This is a Roman Catholic church in the city of Lucerne, Switzerland. It was built in parts from 1633 to 1639 on the foundation of the Roman basilica which had burnt in 1633. Its approach is up many stairs from the busiest thoroughfare in Lucerne. The grand towers dominate this section of the city and it was this that brought us to take a look inside. We were amazed to find a little nook very close to the high alter which was set aside for children and their parents, not behind glass. Here, colouring in from the kids was still displayed. The adjoining cemetery is very well cared for and almost like a mini-cloister.Læs mere
