    We drive to a highpoint overlooking the city and all over Avacha Bay. The Russian nuclear submarine base is located on the other side of the bay and there are battleships at anchor. From this point its easy to see how the volcanoes have shaped this land. The billboard, says "We see the morning first" - it's a tourism slogan.Read more
