Rural Transylvania

Not far out of Bucharest, we are into wide open spaces where farming is the major industry. It’s the season to harvest potatoes and cut the wheat. On many farms there is a quite primitive work pattern, harvesting/planting by hand, manually-wheeling using carts, a few small tractors.
