    The Matthias Church is a very grand Roman Catholic church with a beautiful tiled roof added in the 19th century. It was originally built in the 14th century. Sitting in the Fishermen’s Bastion, this forms part of a UNESCO World Heritage area. The geometric wall designs reflect the Asian influence in Hungarian ethnographic beginnings. A small museum is located on the first floor.Read more
