The Zuyptdorp Wreck

The Dutch East India ship, the Zuyptdorp, was lost without trace in 1712.
The wreck was found in 1926-27 by families working in the area.

They found coins dated 1711, bottle fragments, a timber spar, a carved female figure, and 'jugs' — breech blocks from swivel guns.Läs mer
