Gentle rain as we walked through Hyde Park past St Mary’s Cathedral to the fountain. Always love this shady walk through the majestic old fig trees.

The Governor’s gardener lived in this house within the gardens. The ferns were amazing, so huge and lush in a very tranquil setting.

Manly Ferry back to the City

The Heads, where the Sydney-Hobart yacht race begins in earnest each Boxing Day. Open to the Tasman Sea, the ferry rolls in the SE swell. Blue sky to the east and black clouds to the west!
