Just a note about traditional Mallorcan musical instruments. The musical groups can be as simple as having several sizes of drums or xeremies (bagpipes), flabiol (5 hole flute) and tamborí (small drum) or more complex with the addition of bandúrria (similar to a lute), guitarrós (small guitars), violins, castanets, and triangles. There´s also the musical curiosity called the ximbomba, a type of friction drum, small versions are often on sale to tourists.En savoir plus
