We walked through this Sculpture garden on our way to the natural history musuem. James loved the duck ramp.
Pengembarait's art. it's whatever you want it to be I guess. My interpretation is that it's just a pile of scrap metal waiting for collection 😂 I didn't actually read the plaque though.

We went down to the wharf. As its labour day weekend, there was a jazz festival going on, so lots of people out enjoying the music and the sunshine.

Even though we had seen it briefly in the dark and ran past it this morning. We didn't look at the reflecting pool or get up close to it. So we walked back to take a proper look at Capitol.

The crowds here compared to our tourist run this morning are world's apart. I'm glad we got out for a run to see it in a much calmer (and cooler) setting.

After walking 30k steps today in the heat and it being a 40 minute walk back to our hotel, we opt'd in to get a couple of scooters back.

We went up the Top of the Rock.
It was very busy. The queuing to get back down especially!
But it was cool to see the New York skyline at night, including the really dark patch where times square is.

The 9/11 Memorial Museum.
We got in at 3pm and got kicked out at closing at 5pm. This was one of the best museums we've been to so far. It's a shame that we had to be kicked out at closing as we hadBaca lagi

We do love a Pret. But in America they really don't know how to make a flat white. It's the size of my head! Pretty sure they just make a latte.
