Variante Espiritual begins

This marks where the variante espiritual moves away from the main camino portugues route. It was so dark in the morning that I had to wait for humans before proceeding on a very dark area before this point - I'm such a scaredy cat I know. 🫠 I didn't realize there would be so much of them though. Just a few minutes behind me were about 20 or so pilgrims heading to caldas de reis. I'm so glad I'm going on a different route. 😌Read more
