Bateas de mejillones

Vilanova de Arousa is famous for their mejillones, aka mussels. Sadly, the restaurant where we had dinner the night before did not have any. 🫠

There's literally hundred of these bateas where they cultivate mussels, and we witnessed one being harvested. Then I started thinking as to why we can't have these kinds of things in the Philippines.. 🤔Les mer
