London - Day 2

Out and about today having another look around. We went to Platform 9 3/4 at King Cross Station to see if we could board the Hogwarts Express - no luck today I think it decided to go without us. Went shopping at the Harry Potter Shop for Betty (aka Casey) and Audrey (aka Mikayla).

We then wandered around the area where our motel is, looking at all the different touristy things and visited a souvenir shop - I love souvenir shops.

There are literally thousands of people here and the traffic makes Sydney driving look easy.

We had a day of sun, wind, rain then back to sunny and windy. Days are about 20 degrees which is just nice.

We had afternoon tea in the little coffee shop in the hotel. Shared a raspberry and custard tart and a cappuccino each. Check out the hanging cup and saucer display hanging from the ceiling of the shop (picture below). It’s so cute but I’d hate to be cleaning it. Would you like me to bring you one home Sandra?
