Edinburgh to York

We left Edinburgh at 8am this morning to head to Alnwick Castle. On arrival at Alnwick we met up with Anne - a relative we had never met. I used to write letters to Anne’s mum when I was growing up so it was lovely to finally meet her. We had morning tea and a look around the state rooms at the Castle before boarding the bus again to continue our journey to York.

We arrived into York late as one passenger had lost his phone at the Castle so considerable time was spent looking for that then we had to contend with the traffic on the way to York.

We are now foraging around for some tea before going to bed.Læs mere
