Hammersmith

Sunday, I decided to take the bus to its last stop in Hammersmith. On December 23, 1973, I saw Elton John and Kiki Dee's first performance together at what is now the Eventim Apollo but was then called the Hammersmith Odeon. Half a century ago! It's enough to break my heart. (If you know, you know!) It looks kinda uninteresting from the outside, but is an absolutely gorgeous Art Deco theatre, well-preserved inside judging by the photos on Google Maps.
