BRAGA: Basilica do Bom Jesus

The basilica is located inside the "Santuario do Bom jesus ao Monte", just outside Braga, UNESCO world heritage site since 2019.
The church was built in 1811 and it is one of the first neoclassical churches in Portugal.

From the base of the staircase (Escadórios do Bom Jesus) you can see the two towers and the triangular pediment and the entere wonderful white staircase.Read more
