LISBON: Crossing the 25th April Bridge!

On the wonderful bridge that connects Lisbon to Almata!
Inaugurated in 1966 and called Ponte Salazar, in honor of the Portuguese dictator, after the revolution it changed its name, and became Ponte 25 Abril, the date of the revolution.
Aesthetically this bridge is very similar to the Golden Gate Bridge of San Francisco, which inspired it.Read more
