🇦🇱 BunkArt 2: Anti-atomic bunker ☢️

Dictator Hoxha was terrified of an invasion by NATO, neighboring Yugislavia or the USSR. As a result he ordered the construction of over 200,000 bunkers nationwide, some of which still exist and are abandoned.

In 2014 and 2016 two of the largest antiatomic bunkers were transformed into museums. BunkArt 2, specifically, was the bunker used by the Ministry of the Interior.

Outside there is the car model used by the secret police to arrest dissidents, while inside there is a tribute to the many victims of Albanese communism.Read more
