• 🛀 A bit of relax: the thermal baths!

    Budapest is known for its historic thermal baths, offering a perfect blend of relaxation and tradition. The most popular are the Széchenyi Thermal Bath and the Gellért Thermal Bath.

    We went to the first one, which is also the largest thermal center in Europe and is located in the City Park. The daily ticket costs around 33 euros.
    It was completed just before WWI in 1913 in a neobaroque style.

    In addition to a big outdoor hot water natural pool, there are various indoor rooms with cold and hot water pools, saunas, and Turkish baths.
