Cruise on Lake Luzern

We'll miss Mt. Pilatus and Mt. Rigi on this trip. We checked the mountain cams and discovered it was a cloudy day on the peaks, so we took a cruise on Lake Luzern. It was a peaceful way to conclude our visit to Luzern.

The city was chartered in 1178 and is rich in history. At the beginning of the 14th Century, the City joined with other cities and Cantons to form the Swiss Confederacy and achieved freedom from the Hapsberg Empire and Austria. The roots of modern Switzerland are here.Read more
