    Post-Communist Tour

    Got in a man's old, rusty van with strangers.

    Was a great tour. Got the rundown of Slovakian history from the occupation in WWII, liberation by the USSR, and the subsequent communist Czechoslovakia up until 1989.

    Highlights: the old radio/tv building (upside-down pyramid), memorial to Soviet soldiers that liberated Slovakia (mass graves and monument), and the Iron Curtain and remaining outpost bunkers.    Read more
