A polite request to not have me executed for posting out of chronological order, but allow me to take you 24hr back in time to Luxembourg Garden, Paris.

We had a luxurious couple of hours in between legs of public transport (which included a very dignified sprint through the station from one train, the wrong train, to another, the right train), and decided to hoof it a few blocks to Luxembourg.

(Lexie interjection to maintain transit dignity - right locomotive, wrong train. Who links them together so you can't access all the cars from the interior, I swear to god.)

Emerging from the metro into the streets of Paris was quite exciting for me, and quite amusing for Lexie, and she graciously paused to allow me to jiggle up and down in glee. And it only slightly smelled of piss!! 👍🤗

The gardens were an absolute delight, and we happily sat to people-watch with our supermarket picnic. Lexie compared butts with the statues and I toasted a conk in Eva's honour.
