Bangkok Sightseeing

Got to Bangkok without a plan except for the hotel and how long we confirmed to stay. One week. We stayed just off of Sukhumvit Road. This area gives great access to the transit system and spectacular people watching.
We took a few boat trips on the Chao Phraya River. Went to a polo match way out of town at VS Sports Club & Siam Polo Park. Which was wonderful and all the people there were so nice. Did a tuktuk food tour with a chef & archaeologist—delicious foods but 🥵 strolling markets tucked into tiny alleys. We also took in an afternoon of horse racing at The Royal Bangkok Sports Club. Another fun afternoon. For those who like big cities, this one is hard to beat.Read more
