Kuala Lumpur

After a lovely send off in Hua Hin and Bangkok we flew to KL. Caroline found us a lovely hotel “The Majestic”which was two metro stations from Chinatown and five stations from Petronas towers.
I had not heard about Merdeka 118 but looking out the window of the hotel one couldn’t help but ask. How tall is that building that commands the skyline?

The food was first class. The butterfly exhibition was well worth the visit, as was the bird park. Within walking distance of each other.
