    Jane drove us to Stockbridge which is south of Compton. We went to Mottisfont which is a magnificent National Trust house and garden. This house was crafted from a priory founded in 1201 and set in a beautiful riverside gardens which later became a country home of Maud Russell - married to a rich banker. The garden was blooming with beautiful flowers and it seemed at its best. We had scones with tea etc and walked around for ages looking a lovely flowers mainly. Craig and I also had a look at the house which is simpler than most but still lovely. Mottisfont is a spring and there was certainly plenty of water there.Leer más
