Hot day again in Lyon

After lunch, we had a quick look at the Rue Mercier where there were lots of great-looking restaurants. And also a lovely LARGE fountain. After a rest, we set out to find the Traboules and facades in Vieux-Lyon. Tricky to find these traboules are narrow, 'secret' passageways in between houses. We went through the doors and found several of them. Very interesting to see - used as shortcuts, to avoid the rain and for the silk merchants. There were also some lovely Renaissance facades on the outside. The St Jean cathedral looked amazing but it wasn't open?? Too hot perhaps. Back home again as we were all over hot.Les mer
