Monkey forest

I decided to head west today and had a 711 breakfast on the way (onigiri and pizza roll). On the way to the bamboo forest I spotted a monkey playground and thought I would have a look. It was a great view of Kyoto from the top and the monkeys were alot more docile than the Balinese ones. It was a little strange that the humans with food had to be in a cage but I gave it a go. It was nice that you could slowly feed them pear or peanuts through the fence.
Spoke to Alice on the way down who was also heading to the bamboo forest. We walked and talked for a while.Read more
