Nagano

After coming back from the snow monkeys I had a few hours to kill before my train back to the hotel. I hadn't had lunch at that point so Abigail and I found somewhere for lunch/early dinner and some drinks. She was the girl who I talked to on the walk to the snow monkey park and it was her 11th trip to Japan so we practiced some Japanese together. Found a place which was busy and had nothing in English so it seemed perfect. I got myself a big bottle beer for $4 and a gyoza set. We saw our neighbours order a sake drink which was topped up with the meat broth so had to give that a go. It was decent sake but hot which I'm not the biggest fan of, it was nice to warm as it was 1° outside.
I then left Abigail at her hotel and went for a wander of the streets. There was not much it seemed to do in Nagano so I changed my ticket to an hour earlier, grabbed an egg sandwich from 711 (as everyone kept raving about them) and booked out my next 2 days while getting some train tickets. I headed back to the hotel, had an onsen and headed off to bed.Weiterlesen
