Cathedral of Our Lady Onze-Lieve-Vrouwek

I popped into the church to have a look around. It cost €12 but figured it was worth a look around.
There is a certain solice or reverence in a place like this, in the floor of the church there was multiple tombstones, unsure if they are still occupied or not but there is a place you can go downstairs and it took you to what looked to be some empty coffins.
The scale of the building often blew me away as I walked around, thinking this would have taken multiple human lifetimes to build and thinking of the shear number of people who much have walked through those doors.Read more
