Bathurst

We were parking at the RV Rest Area when a middle aged man approached. He said that we could park in the paddock across the road if we preferred to. When I told him that I had read not to on Wikicamps, he said that he is the Deputy Mayor of Bathurst and if he says it's okay, then it's okay. So we parked in the paddock, instead of the carpark. Heap more space, room to put the awning out, surrounded by grass instead of bitumen, and no time limit. Much more pleasant.Read more
