Another freesite near the highway. Small village atmosphere with museum, cafe, crafts. Will be closed when the new road comes through.

Day trip to Ballina. Markets, food festival and poker, all less than expected or desired. Too late to look at the town, so staying at the closest reasonably priced site.

Arrived @3pm, 4 or 5 more vans arrived before we had even decided where to camp. Stayed put. Uneventful. Lots of dogs being walked in Botanic Gardens. Wandered across the road to the shopping centre.
