Waikehe Island trip

By our first weekend in Auckland, we were still without a vehicle but over our jet lag and looking to get out for a bit of an adventure. Keegan's university buddy, Chris Morrison recently moved to NZ, and we were able to meet up with him and take a ferry ride out to Waikehe Island (aka Auckland's wine Island). Hoping to do some hiking around but somewhat limited by this Kauri Dieback disease that has closed a lot of trails. Took in some beaches and drank wine instead, no complaints!Read more
