Day 5 Chame to Lower Pisang (3200m)

Beautiful colour on the mountain early this morning followed by an avalanche. Lots more Buddhist prayer walls, wheels and flags. The scenery just keeps on improving. Huge rock slab, similar to, but much bigger than Half Dome in Yosemite. After early arrival we walked up to Upper Pisang to see the monastery and walked around village. Not as touristy as thought route would be as farming houses scattered amongst tea houses.Read more
