Day 8/9

Yak Kharka (4018m) and Thorung Phedi (4450m) Slowly heading higher so we don't gain too much altitude too quickly. Getting colder (-7 one morning) and tea houses even more basic and busy. Dusty uneven wooden floors with stone walls and very draughty windows/doors. A cattle shed comes to mind! All adds to the experience though. Saw someone helicoptered out of here due to altitude sickness.Baca selengkapnya
