Selingan Island : Hatching of turtles

Early in the morning (at 06.00 hr) we are allowed to go to the beach and we get the change to free some - just born - turtles to the sea. We also see and film a big lizard who was able to find and eat an egg which was not gathered by the rangers at the island. What an amazing experience ! Only 1 % of all this little turtles 🐢 will stay alive.

At 08.00 hr we sail back to Sandakan, after this wonderful 2 days.Meer informatie
