Nairobi National Museum has incredible displays of human history and evolution, including fossils of early hominids and humans. These fossils, housed in the Cradle of Humankind exhibit, represent almost the entire human evolutionary story. And, it's apparently deliberately understated to appease creationists.

One of the most famous exhibits is the skeleton of "Turkana Boy," a young boy who lived about 1.6 million years ago. He is the most complete skeleton of an early hominid ever found. Homo Erectus. There is also a replica of Lucy, a forebearer of early humans, a Homo Australopithecus.

It was a humbling experience to look at this comprehensive history of human evolution.Lue lisää
